Pregnancy Counselling Link (PCL) is a community service sponsored by the organisation Pregnancy Help Queensland Inc. (PHQI), which was founded in 1973. Pregnancy Help Qld is a totally autonomous, non-denominational organisation and is not affiliated with any political or other group (even of similar name).The Queensland Government supports PCL to provide free telephone, face to face and email counselling support and information services and to deliver community education services.

Qualified counsellors staff Pregnancy Counselling Link. They are experienced in counselling and providing information sessions on reproductive issues. These issues include unplanned pregnancy, fertility, miscarriage or any pregnancy loss, and post abortion grief. Our counsellors are committed to providing non-directive counselling support and information to clients who are experiencing difficult or unforeseen circumstances in their lives. They are also qualified to deliver education sessions to school and tertiary students and other community groups.

PCL's duty of care is to provide emotional support to the client in a caring, non-judgemental environment. We do not provide advice on medical issues or referrals for medical procedures. Clients are referred to appropriate services

Pregnancy Counselling Link maintains a strict code of ethics and is, therefore, bound by professional privacy and confidentiality guidelines. Our counsellors are required to attend regular training sessions and receive certified supervision, to ensure they deliver a quality professional service to clients.
